Now that Labor Day has passed, I’ve rounded up 15 Easy Fall Dessert Ideas. Now it is officially the unofficial beginning of Fall – at least that is what the weather experts are telling me! Regardless, I am excited to start the change of season. Summer has been full of delicious desserts, but Fall is my favorite with all of the warm spices and flavors!
Fall Cake Dessert Ideas
To start the easy fall dessert collection, I’ve selected a few of my small batch cake recipes. These are easy cake recipes, and perfect to feed smaller crowds.

Pumpkin is the quintessential flavor for fall. And when you combine it with cheesecake, you have a purely decadent dessert!
Easy Fall Cupcakes and Bars
Two of my favorite desserts – cupcakes and dessert bars. I like the mini size that makes it easier for portion control. But maybe it doesn’t work the greatest when you eat 4 in one sitting … 🙂
Whipped ganache and marshmallow whip round out these yummy little cupcakes!
Cheesecake bars that are loaded with all of the cozy flavors and spices of Fall!
Fall Flavored Cookie Ideas
Cookies are such a versatile dessert. You can take a sugar cookie, chocolate chip cookie, or cakey cookie and pretty much add any flavor you like to them. Proper baking disclosure – just make sure the flavor addition doesn’t alter the batter too much.
Now that I’ve added the PSA, let’s get to a delicious variety of easy cookie recipes!
Add a little cinnamon and cayenne to give these soft chocolate cookie sandwiches a warm kick!
Can you have a fall recipe collection without something that is caramel stuffed?
There is a debate on whether the whoopie pie is a cookie or a cake. Doesn’t matter to me – I’m still going to eat them without a fork!
The most popular cookie recipe on the blog – so it had to be added to the Fall recipe collection!
Fall Breakfast Recipes
A collection of 15 Easy Fall Dessert Ideas has to include breakfast. Because let’s face it – all of these treats can be enjoyed any time of the day!
And breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not start it off with sweet treats that feature the cozy flavors of Fall!
Oh, these donuts … one with a Nutella glaze. Another with a maple cream glaze. And another with good old-fashioned cinnamon sugar. Yum.
This is a small batch of the beloved cinnamon roll baked with a sliced apple and caramel sauce.
Another delightful flavor in these apple hand pies – a brown butter glaze. It is a must try!
Maybe the healthiest on the fall breakfast list. There is a vegetable and fruit in this small batch of muffins!
Fall Dessert Alternative To Pie
I’m working on more dessert alternatives to pumpkin pie for this Fall. In the meantime, these Pumpkin Pudding Napoleon Pastries are my favorite recipe on the blog. No lie.
Think of a creamy pumpkin pie filling. But we are making it even richer by turning it into a pudding. Then layer that between flaky sheets of pastry – dusted with cinnamon sugar.
A delicious alternative to pumpkin pie. Not to mention a creative dessert presentation!
