Small batch desserts are what Butter and Bliss is known for — homemade treats scaled for two or a few. This collection brings together my favorite small cakes, fudgy brownies, soft cookies, cupcakes, mini pies, and other classic desserts, all tested to deliver full bakery flavor without a full pan of leftovers.
A few reader favorites worth starting with: the small batch pumpkin bread — made as mini loaves with a cinnamon sugar top — is a fall staple. The small vanilla cake is soft, tender, and sized perfectly for two. The chocolate chip cookies are bakery-style with chewy centers and crisp edges, and simple to make. And the strawberry cupcakes for two are bright with fresh strawberry purée and great any time of year.
